The Web Print system allows students and staff to print to the
Library Printer
from their own laptops from anywhere in the school without installing
drivers.
To print from laptop/BYOD go to
10.186.0.16
Make this a shortcut so you can access in future. Allows you to track your
printing, what you have queued to print and how much money in your
account. You can top up account in the Library.
The system can print documents that have the following
file formats:
Picture File
BMP, DIB, GIF, JFIF, JIF, JPE, JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIF, TIFF
Adobe Reader
Microsoft Office Excel 2007
XLS, XLSX, etc.
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007
PPT, PPTX, etc.
Microsoft Office Word 2007
DOC, DOCX, etc.
Microsoft XPS Document Writer
XPS

To print a document:
Open your browser to https://10.186.0.16:9191 and
log in using your school login username and
password. Select the Web Print link
- in the navigation menu and then
- Click Submit a Job to start the Web Print wizard.
- The first step of the
- Web Print wizard is
- selecting a printer
- where your job will
- be printed. Only use
- the bottom two
- printers in the list.
Select the printing
option you wish to
use
Select the number of
copies to print.
- After selecting the
- print options, the
- third and final step in
- the Web Print wizard
- is to upload a
- document to print.
- Once you have
- selected a document
- and clicked Upload &
- Complete, the file
- uploads to the server.

PRINT eg. pdf for
documents
Once the document upload is complete you are returned to the first
Web Print page. The table now displays the status of your job. The status
changes to indicate the progress of the job from rendering to printing,
and job details such as cost and number of pages is populated when
known.
Go to Library printer and release your work – must have card (students
only)or type in your User ID.
The job stays in queue for 24 hours before being
automatically deleted.
